Years ago I attended a live seminar by Zig Ziglar.
One of the themes that you must instill in new people is that you "never ever" give up in the face of adversity. I believe that this should be the number 1 theme taught to new people before they get started. If they can't accept rejection they will never succeed in this business. They have to learn to go on to the next person. A "NO" is one of the harshest words for people to accept.
A favorite saying that I keep posted in my home office:
"Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up"!
